1. What does this policy constitute?

1.1. We recognize the need to implement adequate protection for your personal data. With this policy we want to inform you about the personal data we collect, who will process it and how, what we use it for, how long we will keep it for, and what protection measures we have taken to keep it safe.

2.1. Your personal data is processed by “Kotsev and Kosev” Law Firm, BULSTAT 177351493, with registered office and address in the city of Sofia, 5 “Tsar Ivan Shishman” Str., ent. B, 2 nd floor, KGK office, hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”.

2.2. We are the Controller of your personal data.As such, we are responsible for the processing and storage of your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (the General Data Protection Regulation) and Bulgarian law.

3. In which cases we process your personal data?

3.1. We only process your personal data if you provide it to us.

3.2. In cases where you decide to use the contact form "Submit a request", the Controller processes your personal data.

4. What categories of personal data do we process?

Data collected using the contact form "Submit Request":

4.1. When you decide to make use of the contact form, the personal data that is collected and processed is: name, telephone number, email address, as well as other data that you have decided to provide us with in connection with the request.

5. We process your personal data for the following purposes:

5.1. Taking steps at Your request before entering into an agreement.

6. On what grounds we process your personal data?

6.1. We process your personal data on any of the following grounds:

  • Consent to the processing of personal data for one or more specified purposes;
  • The processing is necessary for the performance of an agreement to which the data subject is a party or to take steps at the request of the data subject before entering into an agreement;
  • The processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation that applies to the Controller in the face of “Kotsev and Kosev” Law Firm, BULSTAT 177351493, with registered office and address in the city of Sofia, 5 “Tsar Ivan Shishman” Str., ent. B, 2 nd floor, KGK office;

6.2. In any case, we will process your personal data on the grounds set out in Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

7.1. In order to improve the performance and quality of the functions of the website, the Controller uses cookies. More information about cookies can be found in the Cookie Policy.

8. Who we may provide your personal data to?

8.1. We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Competent public authorities pursuant to legal provisions;
  • Companies providing services to the Controller for IT systems maintenance and security.

8.2. The controller has put in place appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the rights and freedoms of data subjects. We may share your personal data with the above categories of recipients, but only if they have taken the necessary safeguards and measures to ensure an appropriate level of security.

8.3. The controller shall not transfer personal data provided to it by data subjects to third countries outside the European Union. The transfer of personal data in this case may only take place after we have notified you in writing in advance and indicated the specific ground of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

9. How long we will keep your personal data?

9.1. Your personal data will be kept for the shortest period necessary to fulfil the intended purposes or for the legally prescribed periods, if any. In the event of withdrawal of the consent of the data subjects, the Data Controller will cease their processing.

10. What rights do you have as a data subject?

10.1. As a personal data subject, you have the following rights, for which the Controller will assist at any time:

  • Right to information
    You have the right to receive information at the time of collection of your personal data about the data the Data Controller collects, who will process it, for what purposes and on what grounds.
  • Right of access
    You have the right at any time to request access to your personal data held by the Controller. Including the right to request a free copy of your personal data that is being processed.
  • Right to rectification
    You have the right to have your personal data corrected to keep it up to date and accurate.
  • Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
    You have the right at any time to request access to your personal data held by the Controller. Including the right to request a free copy of your personal data that is being processed.
  • Right to restriction of processing
    In certain cases, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • Right to portability
    You may request to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (i.e. in digital form), as well as request the transfer of your data to another controller designated by you, if this is possible and feasible.
  • Right to withdraw consent
    Where the processing of your personal data is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. The Controller is thus obliged not to process your personal data in the future.
  • Right to object
    You have the right to seek protection of your rights through the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP). The CPDP is an independent public authority that monitors the lawfulness of personal data processing activities. 11. How can you exercise your rights?

11.1. You may exercise any of these rights by sending a written notice to Sofia, 5 “Tsar Ivan Shishman” Str., ent. B, 2 nd floor, KGK office, addressed to the Controller. The application may also be submitted electronically under the Electronic Document and Electronic Signature Act. The application shall be submitted by you or by a person authorized by you, unless a special law provides otherwise.

11.2. The application shall contain the name, address and other identifying data of the individual concerned, a description of the request, the preferred form of communication and action under Articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, signature, date of submission of the application and address for correspondence. In case the application is submitted through a representative, a power of attorney should also be attached.

12. When can we change the current Policy?

12.1. The Controller reserves the right to change this Policy at any time by updating, supplementing and amending it.
